The system of Vehicular Ad-hoc Networks (VANETs) is used for path planning. The most prominent feature for doing so is through the collection of real time data. The data on traffic congestion is used to calculate the quickest and shortest path of travel. An interesting application of this project is the inclusion possibility in China Pakistan Economic Corridor CPEC. The possibilities include vehicle to vehicle communication and traffic control. The project in parts has been implemented in South Korea.
