With over 9 years of professional experience, spanning various prestigious institutions, such as including Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Institute of Science and Technology, Dow Research Institute of Biotechnology & Biomedical Sciences, Federal Urdu University of Science and Technology, Pakistan Council for Scientific and Industrial Research Laboratories, Aga Khan University, Dow Lab Diagnostic Reference and Research Laboratory Blue Cross Laboratories  etc. She has been awarded national and international scientific societies’ memberships such as, American Society for Microbiology (ASM), The European Society for Paediatric Infectious Diseases (ESPID), Microbiology and infectious diseases society of Pakistan (MMIDSP) and Pakistan Biological Safety Association (PBSA).

With more than 15 publications in peer reviewed impact factor national and international journals, she bears expertise in various laboratory techniques, ranging from microbiological and molecular biology testing to laboratory management system ISO 9001 and testing & calibration ISO 17025, Biofilm dynamics to antimicrobial resistance and food safety, cell culture techniques, Quality Assurance of Food commodities, and designing Standard Operating Procedures.
