Mr. Khalid Mumtaz Khan, Director, Leadership Development Center, is associated with BU since 2006. He has also been the head of the Business School at BU for five years. He researches, trains, and consults with public/private sector and HEIs in the areas of finance, capacity building, institutional design, and content development. Mr. Khan has a keen interest in research with core focus on devising a holistic mechanism for predicting corporate defaults and bankruptcies. He has presented his multi-disciplinary research work at international conferences in many countries including Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, Spain, Greece, UK, and USA. For public sector Mr. Khan has trained and consulted for various government and non-government organizations. FBR, Privatization Commission of Pakistan, NHA, Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Fund, National Commission for Resource Development, National Commission for Human Development, HEC, FPSC, UNDP, and World Bank are few to name. In addition to public sector, Mr. Khan has also trained and consulted for various private sector commercial organization. International Finance Corporation (IFC), Fauji Fertilizers Corporation (FFC), NESPAK, & PTCL are a few to name. Corporate Governance being his focus in PhD, Mr. Khan has the privilege to extend his services to SECP along with many regulators falling in preview of SECP.
