We are pleased to announce that a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Bahria Innovation Center, Bahria University Islamabad Campus and PEP foundation at the directorate of ORIC, Bahria University Head Office. Director ORIC Prof. Dr. Shehzad Khalid and Program Manager of PEP foundation Dr Fariha Anwar signed the said agreement. The MOU serves as a formal collaboration between Incubation Centers, International Donors and Investors to accelerate the identification and scaling of critical social innovations. The partnership between both the centers will be mutually beneficial in terms of startup mentor-ship, networking, international and Donor backed grants/initiatives for Entrepreneurs. The two leaders discussed social entrepreneurship activities happening at BU and how it can solve large national level issues. Their main focus areas were Education, Health, Water, Agriculture and Energy priority sectors and how BIC and PEP can cooperate to enable new companies and imaginative personalities by giving them a dynamic stage.
