Epliepsy Predictor is an android application that predicts epileptic seizures in patients. Over 2 million people are affected by this in Pakistan and many go untreated due to lack of awareness. The system notifies doctors and caretakers in advance about a possible attack. The system works on EEG signals that are pre-processed and then multiple features are extracted and finally classified to predict the attack. When an attack is detected an alarm is generated to prevent the seizure. As this is a locally developed solution, Epilepsy Predictor can help reduce the health budget and reduce imports and production of expensive medicines.
