Dr. Najam ul Islam is currently serving as a Professor and the Dean with the Faculty of Engineering and Sciences, Bahria University, Islamabad. He received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineer from UET, Lahore, Pakistan. and a Master’s degree in computer sciences from LUMS. He further completed his PhD. degree in electrical engineering from Telecom PerisTech, France. During his doctoral studies, he was with EURECOM, Sophia Antipolis on
the research theme of Flexible Radios for Multi-Standard Wireless Communication Devices. He was also engaged with Government of Pakistan in Research and Development protects from 1998 to 2004. Moreover, he has authored over 40
papers in reputed international journals and conferences His current research interests include Information Security, Flexible Radios. and Renewable Energy.
