Mr. Ali Mirza is working as Senior Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Bahria University Islamabad. He is an active researcher and leads development teams in many projects. Mr. Ali is currently enrolled in PhD degree at Bahria University Islamabad and finalizing his PhD dissertation. His PhD research is on Detection and Recognition of Urdu Text in Videos. During his PhD, he has published many research papers and has been awarded with several national and international awards. His other research interests include, Computer Vision, Deep Machine Learning, Object Detection, Cursive Text Recognition, Gender Classifications using Handwriting, and Information Retrieval. Mr. Ali is also member of the Pakistan Pattern Recognition Society (PPRS), the Pakistan chapter of International Association of Pattern Recognition (IAPR).
