Khalid received PhD from School of Electronics Engineering, Dublin City University. His PhD study was funded by Telecommunication Graduate Initiative (TGI). He is currently senior Asst. Professor and Head of Computer Engineering Department. His research focuses on cryptographic engineering, hardware software co-design and hardware acceleration of signal processing & machine learning algorithms. He has published several research papers in journals and conferences of international repute. He is a reviewer of IEEE Trans. on Circuit and Systems II, IEEE Trans. on VLSI and Elsevier Microprocessor & Microsystems.
