Maculopathy represents group of retinal diseases which affect macula and can cause severe vision loss if not treated in time. We present a vendor-independent framework for the extraction and characterization of retinal layers and fluid pathology, along with 3-D retinal profiling. The proposed approach works by first extracting nine layers from an optical coherence tomography (OCT) scan;
Afterwards, the extracted layers, combined with a deep CNN model, are used to automatically segment cyst and serous pathology. Further, the autonomous 3-D retinal profiling. The system has been validated through thousands of OCT scans acquired through different OCT machinery and has surpassed the performance of its competitors.
