Imran Siddiqi is working as Professor of Computer Science at Bahria University Islamabad. Dr. Siddiqi received his PhD degree from Paris Descartes University, France in 2009 and specializes in image analysis and pattern classification techniques. He has been an active researcher with more than 100 research publications at reputed conferences and journals. He has also won several funded projects from National as well as International funding bodies. His recent research interests include application of deep learning techniques to computerized analysis of online as well as offline handwriting, biometric and forensic applications, prediction of neurological disorders using non-invasive modalities and content-based image and video retrieval. Dr. Siddiqi is also a key member of the Pakistan Pattern Recognition Society (PPRS), the Pakistan chapter of the International Association of Pattern Recognition (IAPR).
