Automated farming is the future and un-manned milking system for cow farms is a step in this direction. The system comprises of a KUKA robotic arm with custom built gadgetry example, gripper for holding 4 of the suction cups at a time, Swiss Ranger ToF camera for 3D sensing of cow and its teats. The system is successfully installed in Rangitata farm in New Zealand and is a consideration in the local Pakistani market.
